Terms of Service
Last updated September 2026
These are the rules for using Meadow. We’ve kept them as readable as we could — no wall of all-caps, just the things you should actually know before using the service.
Acceptance of terms
By creating a Meadow account or using the Meadow website and apps, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don’t agree with any part of them, please don’t use the service. We may update these terms from time to time; when we make meaningful changes, we’ll let you know by email or in the app before they take effect.
Your account and responsibilities
You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Use a strong, unique password, and let us know right away if you suspect someone else has accessed your account.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Meadow, and the information you provide when signing up must be accurate. One person, one account — accounts may not be shared, sold, or transferred.
Subscriptions and billing
Meadow offers a free plan and paid plans billed monthly or annually. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel first. You can cancel any time from your settings; your paid features stay active through the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
If we change our prices, we’ll give you advance notice, and any new price applies only from your next renewal. Refunds are handled case by case — if something went wrong, contact us and we’ll make it right.
Acceptable use
Use Meadow for its intended purpose: tracking and understanding your own finances. You may not use the service to break the law, attempt to access other users’ data, probe or disrupt our systems, reverse-engineer the product, or resell access to it.
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules, though we’ll always try to reach out first when it’s reasonable to do so.
Limitation of liability
Meadow is a tool for viewing and organizing your financial information — it is not financial advice, and we’re not a bank or financial advisor. Decisions you make based on what you see in Meadow are your own.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meadow is provided "as is," and we’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you’ve paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Termination
You can close your account at any time from your settings, and your data will be deleted as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we’re required to close by law. If we ever discontinue the service, we’ll give you reasonable notice and a way to export your data.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Meadow is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless applicable law gives you the right to resolve them elsewhere.
